Diapers, anyone?

Quick post about my latest discovery: Diapers.com. I've seen the website frequently but didn't realize how good it was! We use Pampers Swaddlers diapers right now, and the super duper big box on Diapers.com is less than $1 more than what it costs at Sam's Club. Plus, free shipping on orders over $50, and they typically have extra coupons/discounts that you can apply to your order. AND you can send in paper coupons that you have to apply to your next order.

If you're a momma and want to save on diapers, check it out! If you use referral code BIZ0518, you can save $10 on your first order. (I used someone else's referral code, which was a big help too!)

If this is old news to you, then disregard, but I am pretty excited about saving on diapers. Does that make me a grown up?

Milestones

Anabelle turned one month old last week, on June 18th! This is a few days late, but here she is in all of her sweet one month glory.
And another milestone-- she started sleeping in her own bed this week! If you've met her, you know she's quite the little talker. She's full of coos and hums and grunts. It's precious to listen to, but it also keeps me up at night. So, we moved her to her crib, and she did beautifully! Our monitors work great, and she seems happy in her new room. Here's the tiny little bug in her giant bed.

Almost 6 Weeks!!

Anabelle is six weeks old tomorrow! We can't believe it's been that long. Time has flown, and she continues to add SO much joy to our lives. As Mike says, our new hobby is staring at her. We adore the sweet personality that we continue to see developing, and we love this little extension of our family!

She may be the most photographed baby ever, so finding a few photos to post is a bit difficult. Enjoy them anyways, and if you'd like 500 more to view, I can send them to you! I just love this one!
My family, on Mother's Day.
The Mack family!
Anabelle's first day at Mimi & Papa's pool.
Anabelle's first Indian's game.
Just too sweet! Her tear ducts opened this week, so her crying is that much more sad when I see little tears with it. But she's still adorable when she cries, which is hardly EVER!

Four Generations of Wittig women. Anabelle's Great-Grandma and Gandpa Wittig came to visit!
We went away to Hueston Woods State Park last weekend for Edward Jones Regional Meetings. One night, we gave her a bath. Afterwards, daddy held her while Mimi and mommy gave her the royal spa treatment. What a life!
We just can't get enough of her!

First Father's Day!

Mike's first father's day was spent on the road back from Regional Meetings in Ohio. We then relaxed at my parents' house for the afternoon and then crashed once we got home. We did manage to do gifts Sunday night, and then I made Mike a steak dinner and peach cobbler on Monday to continue the celebration. Here are a few sweet daddy photos....

Mike's gifts from my family--- a fishing pole and stocked tackle box to begin some fun fishing memories!! And a shovel, which he really needed. (My mom is dangerously thoughtful)

Dad and baby girl.
This is one of his very favorite things, when Anabelle holds his hand!
Snuggle time after her bath.
And a dual father/daughter photo when Anabelle was just a few minutes old. I love this one!

Happy Father's Day to my wonderful husband and my wonderful dad!!

Bed, Bows & Belly Buttons

It's been another wonderful week with Anabelle! Many more firsts, including going to Mimi & Papa's, getting in the pool, going to daddy's softball game, and more! She also met two of her little buddies for the first time, Addie Grove (and one of my best friends, Stacy):
and Sarah Land (and another best friend, Katie). Sarah is the one that is going to teach Anabelle how to get in to everything, and then Anabelle is planning to return the favor by teaching Sarah's new sister-to-be how to get into trouble, too. Sounds like fun!

Katie was generous enough to make me a delicious dinner AND birthday cake on my birthday so Mike and I were able to just enjoy the day.
Another first last week was Anabelle's first bow on her head! She just loves them! She won't go a day without one again.
And a BIG first on Friday night was her first time showing off her beautiful belly button! That's right, her umbilical cord fell off. We were so excited, it was like she had started walking! Her tummy is so precious.
And for the last of her "firsts," Anabelle slept for EIGHT HOURS Sunday night! We spent the day outside at my parents' house, in and around the pool. I guess the sun must have zapped her because I got an awesome night's sleep! On a normal night, she sleeps four to six hours at a time, which is also incredible. I haven't felt sleep deprived at all. But EIGHT??
Call me crazy, but I called the doctor to be sure it was okay. She's been eating like a champ, and I think she'll be just fine.

The Train Has Ended

Today is day 17 of Anabelle's life, and it is also the first day we haven't had our dinner catered by a generous friend. It was such a generous treat by all of our friends who made us dinners because we were able to spend our evenings focusing on our family, rather than the kitchen. I did pretty well getting back into the groove of dinner, but if anyone still wants to bring us meals, we won't argue! (In fact, Mike will put a fridge on our porch for you. ha!)

Here are a few highlights of the last few days....

Lunch date with daddy at the office
Piggies!!
Daddy serenading with the guitar.
Adorable Polo dress that Lily let her borrow, and day 2 of adorable bows!
It was a rough day helping Sonya registry shop! Tuckered out.

Anabelle's First Photo Shoot (Part 1)

The photographer I use at work offered to do Anabelle's newborn photos, and we couldn't say no! He and his daughter came by on Saturday for four hours of Anabelle. She did incredibly, staying awake and happy most of the time. And the photos turned out beautifully, if we do say so ourselves. Here are a few to enjoy!
